Utopia 2020 – Update
We are disappointed to announce that due to the pandemic we have had to postpone Utopia 2020 until September.
We are extremely disappointed to announce that this year’s Utopia will be postponed until September, due to the on-going situation regarding Covid-19. Originally due to take place in June, the event will now be taking place on the weekend of 4th – 6th September at Wyboston Resort, Bedfordshire.
“It is increasingly more apparent that as lockdown continues, we must now look toward the end of the Summer before we return to organising events,” says company director Dexter O’Neill. “The safety of attendees and guests is the priority for us, although I understand how disappointed people will be. However, we shall be back in September with our usual mix of Doctor Who fun, with that unique Utopia atmosphere. It’s going to be a big Gallifreyan party!”
All tickets purchased for June, will still be valid for the new event – and all ticket holders have been emailed. We hope that November’s event Pandorica will be unaffected by the world situation.
In the meantime, Fantom has gone online with brand new Doctor Who events providing live streamed entertainment for free. This Saturday we are joined by Sylvester McCoy, Katy Manning, John Leeson and Dan Starkey you can discover more here.
