Fantom Events: This Week’s Guest Updates
Fantom Events has revealed another stellar line-up of Doctor Who cast and crew for this week’s October Signing Spectacular. Fans of the long-running series will be delighted to meet a diverse range of actors and contributors who have helped shape the world of Doctor Who. Here are the latest guests confirmed for the event:
Timothy Combe
We are excited to announce that Timothy Combe will be attending the October Signing Spectacular. Combe directed two iconic Doctor Who serials, Doctor Who and the Silurians and The Mind of Evil, both of which are widely regarded as classic stories of the Jon Pertwee era. Before that, he also worked behind the scenes as an Assistant Floor Manager (AFM) on The Keys of Marinus and as a Production Assistant on The Reign of Terror and The Evil of the Daleks. His deep involvement in the early years of the show makes him a fascinating guest for fans interested in the behind-the-scenes history of Doctor Who.
Andrew McCulloch
Another exciting guest is Andrew McCulloch, who is best known to Doctor Who fans as the co-writer of the Tom Baker serial Meglos. As an actor and writer, McCulloch has an impressive range of credits beyond Doctor Who, including roles in The Land That Time Forgot, Taggart, and the beloved sitcom Father Ted.
Leslie Schofield
We are thrilled to welcome Leslie Schofield to the line-up. Schofield made two appearances in Doctor Who, playing Leroy in The War Games and Calib in The Face of Evil. Beyond Doctor Who, Schofield has appeared in some of the most iconic franchises and TV shows, including roles in Star Wars, Blake’s 7, and EastEnders.
Moya Brady
Adding to the excitement, Moya Brady, who portrayed Bridget in Love and Monsters, will also be attending. Brady has had a varied career with credits spanning popular shows like The Bill, Hollyoaks, Shameless, and the critically acclaimed It’s A Sin.
Derek Chafer
Derek is a Doctor Who veteran, having appeared in over twenty stories, including roles as a Cyberman in The Moonbase and The Invasion, and an Exxilon in Death to the Daleks.
Carole Ann Ford
We are excited to confirm that Carole Ann Ford will be returning to Chiswick for the October Signing Spectacular. Ford is iconic within the Doctor Who universe for originating the role of Susan Foreman, the Doctor’s granddaughter, in the very first season of Doctor Who. Her contribution to the foundation of the series is unparalleled, and she remains a beloved figure in the show’s history… and perhaps even future!
