MISSING IN ACTION!
Fantom is heading to Royal&Derngate Theatre Northampton for a special day celebrating the story behind Doctor Who’s lost episodes.
On Saturday 24th April we will be presenting MISSING WHO, a day devoted to Doctor Who’s missing episodes. We shall be joined by those who made theSE classic stories, both in front of and behind the camera, and the people who have rediscovered and restored them for us to enjoy once more.
Our first two guests have already been announced, with many more to follow.
PETER PURVES played Steven Taylor opposite William Hartnell, and earlier this year we were all delighted when sixty years after they were last seen, two episodes of The Daleks’ Master Plan starring Peter were rediscovered and returned by Film Is Fabulous.
Also joining us will be CAROLE ANN FORD, who played The Doctor’s granddaughter Susan. Carole appeared in the earliest missing story, and one which many would love to see again, the historical epic Marco Polo.
The venue for the day is the Royal & Derngate Theatre, and our auditorium for the day can be clearly seen on screen in the Doctor Who classic The Talons of Weng-Chiang.
There will be stage talks, photo and autograph opportunities, as well as displays and merchandise, and tickets are on sale now!
